The new Night Sound and Light Show is a breathtaking multimedia experience that combines history, culture, and state-of-the-art video mapping technology. For approximately 35 minutes, the massive stone walls of the Crusader Fortress transform into a living canvas, bringing Akko’s extraordinary story to life – from the ancient world through the Roman, Byzantine, Crusader and Ottoman periods, and into the modern State of Israel.
The Old City of Akko is a treasure chest filled with stories, legends, and thousands of years of history.
Its remarkably preserved architecture holds the mystery and grandeur of a distant past. These stunning stories provide the perfect backdrop for a spectacular visual fantasy inspired by real historical events and legendary figures – kings and princesses, commanders and knights, royal celebrations, magnificent ships, and epic battles – all brought to life across the ancient walls of the Crusader Fortress in an unforgettable immersive experience.
